DuPont™, makers of lightweight, versatile and recyclable Tyvek®, recently developed the Tyvek Transcover, a two- or three-piece “car coat” that protects painted surfaces during storage and transportation. Transcovers reduce defects and damage to new vehicles, reducing time-consuming and costly repairs or paint touch-ups.

Tyvek Transcovers can be adapted to each vehicle model, and come in partial or full options. The covers possess all the advantages of the unique Tyvek fabric: they are water, chemical, tear and puncture resistant; fully breathable; low-linting; and easy to install and remove.
