Polymer Group Inc. (PGI) has released its inaugural 2008 Sustainability Report. Prepared following framework of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an organization in which PGI recently became an organizational stakeholder, the report covers five sustainability goals the company hopes to meet by 2014.

PGI is also participating in a pilot program with the Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to develop a globally standard sustainability toolkit for manufacturers.
