Using a new Tencel fiber from Lenzing, natural cellulose fibers can now be processed in carpets, offering excellent moisture management properties; carpeting made with Tencel can also effectively combat the formation of mold. The carpets are also naturally moth-resistant, and, since Tencel has a natural moisture content of 13 percent (compared to only 1 percent in synthetic fibers), the higher moisture content prevents electrostatic charging and static shocks. The fiber guarantees longlasting, intense color brilliancy and a silky softness for the feet.
