Tri Vantage releases update to Awning Composer 5

New features provide versatility as sales tool

Tri Vantage®, a distributor serving awning, marine and furniture markets, has released an update to Awning Composer™ 5, adding features that make it easier for awning fabricators to create custom-branded presentations that illustrate proposed awnings for homes and buildings.

“Based on feedback from Awning Composer users, this update adds several tools that increase its effectiveness as a sales tool,” said Mark Stiver, who manages the Awning Composer program for Tri Vantage. “For example, a new custom page layout tool allows users to show multiple project views, add text and brand the presentation with company logos. As a time-saving feature, commonly used templates can be saved for future use. The results can be printed or sent to your customer as a PDF file.”

The latest update also includes a new camera mode called “look around” that allows users to view a scene from side to side from a central perspective. Additional upgrades include an object alignment tool that automatically aligns objects, such as poles at the front of awnings, and an opacity control that adjusts the opacity of screens placed on windows.

Auto-update notifications are another new feature included in the latest update. Pop-up messages alert users when new updates are ready to download.

Tri Vantage distributes fabrics, hardware, accessories and cordage for the awning, marine and furniture industries. Tri Vantage offers more than 12,500 items and has offices throughout the U.S. and in Mexico and Canada. It is a subsidiary of Glen Raven Inc.
