TEXbase introduces restricted substance management system RSL Guardian

Published On: May 23, 2013

TEXbase, a provider of web-based compliance, quality and materials management software solutions, has announced the release of RSL Guardian℠, a service developed for brands and consumer product companies to manage restricted substance lists (RSL) across the global supply chain.

RSL Guardian is purchased on a standalone basis or as an integrated component of the TEXbase solution. The TEXbase solution is built to efficiently address compliance, quality and materials management, for apparel, footwear and consumer products. Unlike document sharing systems and alternative solutions, TEXbase uniquely tracks compliance and quality from raw materials to finished product.

RSL Guardian is a managed service with dynamic RSL libraries containing lists from industry associations and U.S. states. RSL Guardian allows clients to share libraries, create standards and consistently test objects or products through their supply, production and sales chain. Flexible pick-and-choose standards are securely shared by brands with vendors and labs using the TEXbase real-time collaboration network. This allows brands, vendors and labs to collaborate, manage and test against standards and compliance requirements.

Using RSL Guardian is an easy click-and-run process. The system’s automated update and management capabilities minimize the burden of ongoing management of this process for users. The system features electronic signature capability and documentation and is supported by dashboards allowing TEXbase customers to easily review the status of compliant objects and products.
