The Wagner Companies, Milwaukee, Wis., has announced the upcoming launch of their new e-commerce website, shop.wagnercompanies.com. The new site will be launching early spring 2014 and offers an improved approach to online shopping for Wagner’s client base.

For more than a century, Wagner has made customer experience a major focus across their business. The new site is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to offer customers the best possible experience from beginning to end. According to Tony Leto, Wagner’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, “Our customers, like the larger population, have moved online and it’s our goal to be where our customers need us to be when they need us. We’ve offered online purchasing for the past 14 years, but our new site offers additional functionality to make ordering products and tracking past orders easy for anyone. It’s our policy to listen to what our customers need, and do what we can to meet or exceed their expectations.”

Enhancements include:

  • Improved, easy-to-use site search and additional refinement options through navigation allowing customers to find what they’re looking for faster;
  • Faster delivery via Fed Ex to Canada;
  • Clear insight into inventory on hand versus backordered products so customers are immediately aware of what’s available today or how long before they’ll receive their order;
  • Address validation to ensure products arrive to the right place and aren’t delayed due to miss-keyed information.

The Wagner Companies has been in the metal business since 1850 as a manufacturer of handrail fittings and metal products for architectural and industrial applications. The main product lines include: architectural components, architectural railing and systems, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products. Wagner offers laser, bending, stamping and finishing capabilities as well as engineering assistance, and offers a large inventory of raw materials and more than 7,800 stock items in steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, and stainless steel.
