National college tour raises awareness about entrepreneurship possibilities.

The Millennial Entrepreneurs Road Show, organized by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), begins today at the Atlanta University Center in Atlanta, Ga. The show is a national tour of Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) to engage students and raise awareness about the possibilities of entrepreneurship, expose them to the available programs and resources, and educate them on how to move from business idea to start-up.

It is a part of the SBA’s “My Brother’s Keeper Initiative,” a program focused on providing young people with ways to overcome barriers to success. All events are free and open to the public, offering intensive entrepreneurship immersion, interactive breakout sessions, speakers, resource panels and networking opportunities with business mentors. Four other cities have been confirmed for the tour thus far: Los Angeles, Calif.; Miami, Fla.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Washington, D.C.
