Teijin Limited will participate in the China International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare (CHINA AID) 2016 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from June 8–10. CHINA AID is one of the country’s largest welfare and rehabilitation trade fairs and this will be Teijin’s first participation in the exhibition.

Products to be exhibited by Teijin include:

• elk®: a polyester cushioning material that can be used in place of urethane.
• FASTENANO™: a hook and loop fastener made by pile fabric NANOFRONT®.
• Flame-retardant fabric: a material made of Teijin’s heat-resistant aramid fiber and Kaneka Corporation’s acrylic synthetic fiber with fire extinguishing capabilities.
• MICROGUARD®: plain weave texture with ultrafine microfiber.
