Published On: February 22, 2017

U.S. Industrial Fabrics Institute (USIFI) and Narrow Fabrics Institute (NFI) members joined forces in Washington, DC, February 7-8 to discuss textile issues with Congress and key executive branch policymakers.  The early date was chosen to hit the ground running with the new Trump Administration and 115th Congress. Thank you to all the NFI and USIFI member companies who participated!

In total, USIFI and NFI representatives Sara Beatty and Lloyd Wood organized individual or group meetings for Lobby Day attendees with 16 House and 10 Senate offices. NFI and USIFI were able to focus on issues such as trade, government procurement/Buy American, Miscellaneous Tariff Bill, and tax reform.
