Zone 1 - North East Canvas Products Association, Inc. (NECPA)

 

The NECPA is a trade association dedicated to helping canvas- and other outdoor fabric-related companies do business with one another and to generating interest and demand for outdoor fabric-based products. 
 
Membership in NECPA is open to manufacturers and fabricators of outdoor fabric-based products, equipment and service suppliers to the trade, and distributors, wholesalers, and retailers of canvas and other outdoor fabric-related products and services in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The VA-Carolinas Canvas Products Association is an organization of both suppliers and fabricators of "canvas" products. Our Supplier members manufacture and/or sell fabric, hardware, or other goods and services to the industrial fabrics industry.
 
Our fabricator members construct and sell goods in the industry. This includes awnings and canopies; marine covers, tops, and upholstery; camping, party, rental and military tents; banners and flags; truck covers and tarpaulins; and many other items.  VA-CA CPA is made up of fabricators from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and Maryland.  Suppliers from across the United States are also part of our organization.

 
The Canvas Products Association, Zone 7, is a trade organization comprised of fabric product manufacturers and suppliers to the industry. The membership of approximately 100 firms represents the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Western New York and Northern Kentucky.
Midwest Fabric Products Association
(newly merged zones 8 and 11)

As of 2/2008, this is the merger of the Upper Midwest Canvas Products Association–Zone 11 and Mid- America Canvas Products Association-Zone 8.  The trade organization is comprised of fabric product manufacturers and suppliers to the industry and represents the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. 
Zone 13 - Southwest Industrial Fabrics Association (SWIFA)

SWIFA is a non-profit Professional Association and is an affiliated zone of the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI).  Membership in the Southwest Industrial Fabrics Association  is open to suppliers, manufacturers, fabricators and others interested in promoting the technical fabrics industry.  SWIFA is made up of fabricators from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.  Suppliers from across the United States are also part of our organization.  Many of our members also belong to the Professional Awnings Manufacturers Association.
The WCPA is a volunteer non-profit trade association serving the fabric awning, technical sewing and marine canvas industries.  The Association’s mission is to promote and adopt the highest ethical, business and professional standards within the industry, and to work for the betterment of the industry with governmental entities, related professional organizations and customers.  The organization operates within territorial limits that include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Utah.

 

ACASPA is a small, closely-knit trade association that represents participants in an industry that can be loosely labeled “Industrial Fabrics”. These participants comprise manufacturers, importers, and distributors of these fabrics as well as, (more importantly) fabricators who convert these into a host of other products, such as outdoor covers, awnings, blinds, shade sails and structures, canopies, dam liners, grain covers, animal shelters, bags etc.

 

OFPANZ’s membership comprises companies involved in the fabrication and supply of outdoor fabric products - incorporating canvas and PVC manufacturers in the marine and sailmaking, camping equipment, marquee manufacture, domestic and commercial awning, canopies, and sunshade sail markets, tarpaulins, transport industry, motor trimming and upholstery, saddlery, and leather products, etc.  
 
In addition, the association enjoys the support of companies involved in the supply of materials and components to the above sectors.   It is an incorporated society of some 100 members, organized into Northern, Central, and Southern branches.

 

SPESA is a leading trade association devoted to the advancement of suppliers of sewn products machinery, ancillary equipment, parts, services, and technology for the global sewn products industry.  Formed in 1990 by industry leaders, SPESA (the Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas) is the largest trade association in the Americas solely devoted to the advancement of suppliers of sewn ancillary equipment, parts, services and technology for the sewn products industry.

OTHER

 

CMCFA is an organization dedicated to promoting professionalism among canvas fabricators in the Mid- Atlantic region of the USA.
