GMA is a division of the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI). GMA is a unique, consensus-building organization that promotes the technical and economic benefits of geosynthetics to the user community and, in turn, assists in building stronger civil infrastructures in a cost-efficient manner. GMA members are recognized as contributors to the geosynthetic industry's growth as well as the industry's future.
Our Mission:
The Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA)is directed by the needs of the North American geosynthetics industry. It serves as the central resource for information regarding geosynthetics and provides a forum for consistent and accurate information to increase the acceptance and to promote the correct use of geosynthetics.
Objectives:
GMA will actively identify, assess, analyze, and act upon market growth opportunities and issues that affect its member companies. The activities of the association will be proactive in nature and centered on five areas:

GMA membership is offered on three levels:
The Executive Council Membership level is open to all companies that are suppliers of geosynthetic materials. Executive Council members provide the main source of funding and serve as the GMA Board of Directors and direct all activities of the association. Executive Council Members pay a $16,085 annual assessment which includes IFAI dues.
The General Membership level is open to all members of the geosynthetics industry. General members serve on association committees and help shape the direction of the association. General members pay a $3,385 annual assessment which includes IFAI dues.
The Distributor Membership level is open to all distributors of geosynthetics. Distributor members serve on association committees and help shape the direction of the association. Distributor members pay a $570 first year annual assessment which includes IFAI dues.
