When registering for the seminars, attendees will select to either attend Education Track 1 or Track 2. Track 1 is the Tent Installation Boot Camp, which is compiled of a variety of educational modules conducted by the Tent Rental Division of IFAI. Track 2 is business and manufacturing focused and includes professional business seminars and training workshops. Both tracks include Friday’s Anchoring Clinic.

A compilation of training modules taught by the Tent Rental Division of IFAI. Learn the latest techniques and guidelines for tent professionals; including topics on safety, structuring, maintenance and installation.
Anchoring your Tent Safely
Through information and better understanding of different engineering criteria and industry standards you will learn how to simplify tent anchoring. You will also learn best practices for risk management to avoid collapse and liability by properly anchoring your tent.
Learn the why, how and what of a site survey. Including the tools you should utilize to gather necessary information to ensure the correct equipment is used at each function and event.
Gain a better understanding of tenting basics in this module which includes a review of tent styles & sizes, along with definitions for commonly used tent terminology.
Track 2Taming the Email Beast, Randy Dean
Learn a proven system for taming your email account, with strategies for keeping your inbox efficient and under control by building and administering a personal "email infrastructure." Reduce the mess in your inbox by having “natural” places for your emails to go. Learn how to get rid of all those “quick little” emails once and for all, as well as how to mitigate or even eliminate much of that annoying junk and spam. Finally feel on top of your email and related activities, rather than feeling it is on top of you.

In this session discuss the apps and peripheral devices that help take your Smart Phone (and tablets) from “cool” to “critical” when it comes to productivity, time, project, people and email management, as well as “remote” productivity.

This module focuses on the basic tent repair materials that every tent installation expert should be aware of when completing different types of repair work.

Learn different method of tent top cleaning so you can better protect your investment and extend and maximize the useful life of your tent inventory.
Track 2Sewing Machine Workshop
Sewing machine experts present hands-on tips and tricks. The workshop also includes demonstrations of maintenance, adjustments and day-to-day machine upkeep.
