Major media picks up PAMA news

The Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA) January news release, “Homeowners Add Environmentally Friendly ‘Saving Energy’ to New Year’s Resolutions in 2012,” garnered national attention via major news outlets across the U.S. CBS Atlanta, FOX Carolina 21 and KCTV 5 in Kansas City were among them.

The estimated pick-ups reached 39,800 Google listings the day it was distributed. The release cites the interview with
homeowner Barb Neuerman from the PAMA video “Awnings Save Illinois Homeowner Cooling Energy Costs,” about how she saved money by installing awnings on her home.

The news coverage should help boost traffic to the PAMA website and links from the website to PAMA members through the shop locator. In addition, a new discussion about the release has been posted on the Awning Info LinkedIn group, which the public can view.
