I think back on all the people and mentors I’ve met through IFAI and many have become good friends—even competitors over the years have been good mentors. Especially when I was starting out in the industry, I looked forward to the Expo seminars where I could learn about new products and procedures. I wanted to learn, learn, learn—and people were willing to teach.
