Awning course for architects approved

The Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA) exclusive “Awnings: Enhancing Your Design” architect education program has been approved and accredited by the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This provides PAMA members with the means to open the door to relationships with local architectural firms. When architects put awnings and canopies in their project designs it is likely that they will be on the finished building.

The education program provides AIA members with a one-hour continuing education unit credit (CEU) that can be used toward license renewal. A session at the upcoming “Marketing Your Awning Company in the New Economy” symposium at IFAI Expo Americas 2010 will focus on how to use this marketing tool effectively.
