PAMA workshops well received at SWIFA

The PAMA-sponsored workshop, “Value-Added Selling and New Technologies,” at the Southwest Industrial Fabrics Association (SWIFA) meeting on April 27 in Austin, Texas, was an unqualified success. The classroom was full and many attendees commented that they gained useful insight to take back to their shops and implement in their own operations.

PAMA would like to thank presenters Bill Foster, Glen Raven; Wayne Davidson, Rainier Industries; Randi Kaplan DellaVechia and Gene DellaVechia, Kaplan Enterprises; Dave Bess, Lawrence Fabric and Metal Structures; and workshop moderator, Roy Chism, The Chism Company.

SWIFA attendees also learned about “Awning Composer” software, “Awning Company Management Software,” ”Cutting Tables and Graphics,” and “Sewing, Seaming, Measuring Shade Cloth Strategies.”
