The Fabric Graphics Association (FGA) is offering a Fabric Graphics 101 workshop July 23 at Lawrence Fabrics & Metal Structures in St Louis, Mo. Fabric Graphics 101: Printing Graphics on Fabric from Beginning to End will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop will address the entire process of bringing a product with graphics printed on fabric from computer model to final product, including CAD, printing, cutting, sewing, finishing and coating. It will include references made to:
- Printing in house versus partnering with a printer
- Applications and processes for small versus large scale
- Time considerations for different processes (both production time and lifespan)
- Best practices
