Over the last five years the Awnings Today campaign has educated residential and commercial markets about the benefits of awnings and established resources to engage relevant industry contacts and web visitors. The campaign, which concluded this spring, established residential and commercial websites and actively engaged its audience via social media. Videos were produced on energy savings, buying awnings, and awning benefits to commercial end users.
Website traffic, media impressions, referrals from the website to Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA) members and engagement in social media have generated market visibility that PAMA did not have previously. Awnings Today news releases have appeared in Business Journal, the Washington Post and other major city newspapers, and on influential blogs, such as Bob Vila’s home improvement site.
