LEED analysis available

PAMA has completed a new LEED analysis project that defines how fabric awnings, canopies and solar shades can qualify for LEED points toward building certification.

The analysis covers retractable drop-arm awnings, solar shades and screens, and stationary commercial canopies, and how they directly and indirectly contribute to credits for the LEED 2009 rating systems in eight categories: New Construction, Homes, Existing Buildings, Commercial Interiors, Core & Shell, Schools, Retail (whole building and commercial interiors) and Healthcare.

PAMA members can access the full analysis report and an illustrated technical data sheet in the Members Only section of the PAMA website.

Guidance on how to use the report for sales and marketing to architects and building professionals will be provided via a webinar to be hosted soon.
