IFAI elects new directors

Two new directors were elected to IFAI’s board of directors. Dennis Bueker and Brian Rowinski began their three-year terms this fall following IFAI’s annual meeting. A long-term marine and awnings industry professional, Dennis Bueker previously worked 28 years in Miami for Astrup/Trivantage in multiple sales and management roles with responsibility for new product development, customer service and branch operations. In addition, he served a two-year term as chair of the Marine Fabricators Association, with eight years on the board of directors. He joined Keyston Brothers in 2010 as a sales representative, calling on the awning and marine industry in the South Florida area. He is currently national sales manager for Keyston, leading the company in its expansion in the awning and canvas market. He also helped to develop products to sell to the awning and marine industries.

Brian Rowinski is the vice president of customer relations at Rainier Industries, which includes customer service, project management and installation services. Formerly a charter member of the board of directors of the Fabric Structures Association (FSA), he currently serves as an officer of the technical fabrics association management group. In 1991 he began his career at Rainier as a salesperson for Rainier’s tent products. His successes in this area lead to a promotion to sales manager of all the Rainier divisions in 1995. In late 2001, he became vice president of operations to help create more synergy between operations and sales. He held this position until 2012.
