PAMA education course approved in Canada

ATA division PAMA (Professional Awning Manufacturers Association) has received approval and accreditation for its education course “PAMA 101: Enhancing Your Design with Awnings and Canopies,” by Canada’s Interior Design Continuing Education Council Inc. (IDCEC). The course can now be taught to designers in Canada for education credit.

The course covers awning definitions, styles, frames, fabric and attachments; the energy efficiency benefits of awnings and canopies; UV protection; engineering standards, codes, permits and regulations; and information about further education on specific projects and applications.
