The Industrial Fabrics Foundation's (IFF) 2013 scholarship applications are now available. Deadline for applications is May 17, 2013.
The scholarship awards cover tuition expenses at an accredited college, university or technical school for students interested in a career in the specialty fabrics industry or are otherwise associated with the industry.
The scholarships available are as follows:
- Don William IFF Student Scholarship
- Industrial Fabrics Association International Member Scholarship
- Architect Student Scholarship
- Fabric Graphics Association Member Scholarship
- Geosynthetic Materials Association Member Scholarship
- Tent Rental Division Member Scholarship
- Narrow Fabrics Institute Member Scholarship
- Marine Fabricators Association Member Scholarship
In total, $28,500 is available to be awarded in the 2013 IFF scholarship program. Member scholarships are available to employees and family members of employees of companies that are members of the Industrial Fabrics Association International and its various Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
Financial need, academic achievement, community service and studies related to a career in the specialty fabrics industry are considered in the selection process.
