Design firm: Design360 Inc.

Fabricator: Xibitz

Description: “Our client was looking for a solution in the entrance vestibule that could be changeable,” explains Design360’s Jill Ayers. “In the gym, they were looking for a solution that would add color and allow for their message to be displayed. Banners made sense as they could hang free of the architecture and be updatable.”

The design firm worked closely with Xibitz to choose Fisher Textiles’ white/black/white block-out material (spec 8873), featuring tightly woven yarns with a layer of black in between that allows for double-sided graphics. The fabric also accepted intense colors well. Xibitz used dye sublimation for the project.
