Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands, and Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, are to receive a 1.2 million euro subsidy as part of the Joint Solar Programme (JSP) to reduce the costs of solar energy by increasing solar cell efficiency. The subsidy was awarded by the Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM) and Nuon, an energy provider in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
