Made up of an inner and outer rectangular box, the hanging rectangular surround that Moss Inc. created for Derse’s 2008 Exhibitor Show booth in Las Vegas, Nev., created a place for pause within their booth, away from the activity of the tradeshow floor. One key element of the design was to create walls that could move up and down and an interior that could accept projections. The entire architecture of the booth was created with fabric and a unique effect was achieved by layering fabrics with lighting and motion. Although the design looked simple, the mechanics and projection were not, but visitors to the booth saw only the restful environment. Moss Inc. won an ATA Outstanding Achievement Award for the booth.
