The top company in the Upstart category is a repeat winner, MMI Textiles Inc., Rocky River, Ohio, which saw sales grow 1,372 percent in its custom fabrics for the industrial textile sewing industry—in just four years. In 2007, MMI acquired NDW Textiles (formerly National Dye Works), allowing MMI to oversee production of its own custom stocks.
