Finding suppliers through CSFM certificates

I’m trying to track down a fabric, and all I have is a number from its CSFM certificate. Can this lead me to the supplier?
Yes, it can. The California State Fire Marshal’s (CSFM) office publishes lists of companies currently certified by them for flame-retardant fabrics and chemicals, and they are tracked by registration numbers. The registration numbers for fabric suppliers start with an F; the ones for chemicals start with a C. Lists of these approved suppliers are available on the California State Fire Marshal’s Department of Fire Engineering division. If you don’t see the number you’re trying to track listed on the site, contact them at one of the e-mails provided. One warning: The lists on the site are for current approved suppliers, and it could be that you’re looking for an expired registration.
