This full enclosure for a Main Cat 30 consisted of 14 panels and three screen insert panels. A forward center window encompasses the mast with a form-fitting collar for a weathertight seal. An aft center door panel gives access to the cockpit area. The goal was to create an enclosure that would give the owner a more unobstructed view with better clarity, and to provide access to two previously blocked storage lockers located port and starboard in the aft corners. The project was awarded an IAA Award of Excellence, Marine Sailboats.
