President Obama will add a visit with American Cord & Webbing Co. factory workers in Woonsocket to his brief tour of Rhode Island on Monday, according to the White House.

The White House announced earlier that the trip promotes two fundraisers to benefit Democratic congressional candidate David N. Cicilline and the party’s House campaign organization.

The president will arrive at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick at 4 p.m. and proceed by motorcade to American Cord & Webbing Co., which weaves webbing and injection-molds engineered plastic, in Woonsocket. He will tour the factory and speak to workers.

From there, the president will proceed to the Rhode Island Convention Center for a $500-a-head fundraiser. Later, he will cap his tour of the state with a high-ticket dinner at a private home on the Providence’s East Side.
