Mechanical lift tables feature ergonomic assistance

Published On: December 1, 2010

A new series of mechanical scissor lift tables with a wooden butcher block top (or a metal deck if desired) offers valuable ergonomic assistance for assembly work where different heights of components or operators must be accommodated. With a stable, safe and lightweight design, the wooden butcher block top is fastened to a metal frame to prevent warping and provide ample load support with a soft touch. Two lifting systems are available: an acme screw-type lift, or a cable winch-type lift with a worm gear drive to keep the load at any position without drifting. The manual crank handle is located at convenient working height, with a molded plastic grip for comfort and safety. Models are offered with capacities from 250 to 1,000 pounds and raised heights up to 87 inches when installed on wheels.
