FabricLink Network, an educational resource for textile fiber and fabric information, will host the “Technology Driven Fashion” seminar at this month’s L.A. Textile Show. The panel event is scheduled for March 28th, 2011, from 3:30–4:45 p.m., in the Penthouse, 13th floor suite 19, California Market Center.

New fashion textiles often come through advancements in manufacturing and production techniques, updated improvements in yarn spinning, modifications in fabric constructions, or through innovations in dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques. “Technology Driven Fashion” will discuss the latest developments in fibers/yarns, knit fabrics, woven fabrics, and dyeing, printing and finishing.

Kathlyn Swantko, a textile advocate and educator, president and founder of FabricLink.com, will be moderator and host for the event. FabricLink.com (trade to consumer) and TheTechnicalCenter.com (trade-to-trade) websites provide information about new products and marketing opportunities for specialty textiles, textile-based products and services.
