Cooley Group names new president

Cooley Group has named Dan Dwight as its president and chief executive officer. Dwight, will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the company.

Prior to joining the Cooley Group, Dwight provided strategic, operational and financial leadership to companies at varying stages of development and to private equity and venture capital firms, with 17 years in a steady progression of domestic and international executive roles for GE, including seven years in Asia. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont. Dwight is a member of the Board of Directors of SatCon Technology Corporation, a NASDAQ listed renewable energy company.

Cooley Group, established in 1926, designs, develops and manufactures high-performance flexible membranes used worldwide in applications including outdoor advertising, water, fuel and chemical containment, military fabrics and commercial roofing. The Cooley Group is headquartered in Pawtucket, R.I.
