Sawgrass Industrial presents pigment ink for outdoor signage at ISA Sign Expo 2012

Sawgrass Industrial, the wide format division of digital printing company Sawgrass Technologies, will present its M pigment ink technology for outdoor signage applications at the ISA International Sign Expo 2012 in Orlando, Fla. March 22–24, 2012.

Sawgrass M pigment ink on polyester offers customers a green alternative for printed banners and signage. M pigment ink eliminates the need to print with solvent inks, which contain harmful VOCs and face increasing regulatory restrictions. Printing M ink with heavyweight polyester, a renewable material, can reduce vinyl landfill waste. M ink only requires heat fixation to bond with fabric and does away with washing and steaming steps.

Heavyweight polyester signage printed with M ink can be folded, bent and reused without cracking and creasing. The pigmented formulation also resists light fading with over three years of outdoor durability and passes industry standards for rub-resistance and abrasion.

Sawgrass Industrial will exhibit the M Ink for outdoor signage at the ISA International Sign Expo 2012 at Booth 2164. Attendees can learn about Sawgrass Industrial’s additional technologies for sublimation printing and products for extreme speed digital textile print production.

Sawgrass Industrial develops digital printing technologies for wide-format printing. The company’s technologies allow for mass customization of digital products for printing onto surfaces such as plastic, metal, films, ceramics and textiles. Sawgrass Industrial is headquartered in Charleston, S.C. with R and D and manufacturing facilities located in Charleston and Basel, Switzerland and an additional office in Sheffield, England.
