Dielectric rope

Hy-Dee Brait dielectric rope from Yale Cordage is the first rope on the market to meet the newly published ASTM standard for ropes with special electric properties, according to the manufacturer. It has also achieved EN Standard CE 62192 certification, indicating that the product meets European safety, health and environmental protection requirements. The 8-strand bi-polymer rope provides excellent grip and is treated with the company’s proprietary chemical mixture, Aralube-dielectric, which is critical to the rope’s wet dielectric performance. Hy-Dee Brait is now easier to splice with a tucking procedure or by the quick spline method.
