Roland DGA Corp. introduced SCM-GPP2 glossy photobase paper to its media offerings for digital printers. With its high gloss and excellent contrast characteristics, this 10.5-mil paper is designed to enhance image quality and maximize the eye-catching effects of metallic graphics.
SCM-GPP2 paper works well with Roland’s Eco-Sol MAX solvent inks, making it suitable for fine art and photographic images, including posters, presentation boards, POP displays, trade show graphics and more. Profiles available within VersaWorks RIP software let you optimize print quality, color and vibrancy. Rolls are available in three sizes to suit varying printer sizes.
“This true photobase paper further expands Roland’s application offerings for wide-format inkjet users,” said Julie Gedaros, product manager of e-commerce, supplies and accessories for Roland DGA. “By enabling unique metallic accents to be added to prints, it opens up new markets to print service providers such as wedding photography.”
