The X-Rite RM200QC, a new imaging spectrocolorimeter from X-Rite, is now available through AATCC at a discount for AATCC Association members. The compact, portable, hand-held device measures and compares color to support color quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

The X-Rite RM200QC provides AATCC “Gray Scale” measurements for stain and color change assessment on textiles. RM200QC offers “Color Compare” automated measurement for standard and sample comparison, and compatibility with Munsell and Pantone color standards.

Calibration can be conducted in less than a minute, measuring a sample takes seconds and no software connections are needed to compare standards and samples.

The RM200QC can measure up to 20 reference standards, which can be stored on the device, dated and time-stamped with the option to assign names using the onscreen keyboard.

A maximum of 350 sample measurements can be stored on the X-Rite RM200QC and compared to reference standards. The on-screen keyboard and voice recorder can also be used for tagging samples.

The RM200QC automatically creates conformance reports in PDF and Excel formats for the stored samples against each standard. The reports can be outputted to a computer or directly to a compatible printer supporting USB Memory stick and PDF file type.
