Newlife™ returns to Première Vision for the PE 2014 with its Eco-Innovation Library. In November 2012 the Newlife™ platform won the prestigious Epro BtoB Award in Warsaw and in December and was awarded the Premio Impresa Ambiente – best product category – in Rome. Newlife™ will take part in the European Business Awards for the Environment in 2014.

Newlife™ now forms part of Saluzzo Yarns, part of the Sinterama Group, the Biella-based European leader for the production of colored polyester yarn and filaments for the automotive industry, home furnishings and other technical applications. It has six manufacturing plants in five countries.

Saluzzo Yarns produces yarns for the fabric industry and also creates tailor-made fabric ideas for contemporary fashion garments, sportswear, lingerie and corporate wear.

The Saluzzo Yarns and Sinterama Group consolidation has been beneficial. “For our division this move offers an extraordinary opportunity to make the most of our tradition of excellence in the sphere of innovative clothing yarns,” said Stefano Cochis, director of Saluzzo Yarns. “In particular, we will strengthen our leadership in sustainable fashion and continue to develop yarns with a hi-tech content, targeting the technical clothing sectors with the highest growth potential in the European market. Newlife™ also had a development with brands and retailers: Lafuma, the leading French brand for outdoor apparel, has chosen Newlife™ for its line of men’s and women’s Eco Life Parkas and Eco Life Jackets.
