Detect flaws in leather

Published On: March 1, 2013

Suitable for use with both conveyor and static cutting systems, the LeatherPRO system helps customers working with leather where detection of flaws in the hide is required. Digital defect marking allows up to two operators to mark imperfections simultaneously, allowing the marking of an entire hide in approximately 2.5 minutes. System handles up to six different defect types and six different pattern quality zone types to maintain quality. Defects are marked with projected virtual lines using a light pen, eliminating messy chalk and tape residue on the material. Increased yields come through a digital hide database, advanced sorting algorithms and the ability to nest for long periods of time.
