Avery Dennison offers installation classes for its Supreme Wrapping Film

Published On: May 6, 2013

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has announced it will offer eight installation classes this year for its Supreme Wrapping Film. The classes are open to students with intermediate to advanced skills and will be taught by Justin Pate, an Avery Dennison certified installer.

The installation classes are one-day intensive workshops with a limit of 15 students per class. Topics covered include how to section film economically, how to wrap door handles, mirrors and compound curves as well as the business aspects of how to price and sell paint wraps.

In a press release from Avery Dennison, Pate explained the need for the classes: “Wrapping a vehicle with an opaque film that has one color and finish is more involved and detail oriented than installing a digitally printed wrap. An installer needs to have a thorough understanding of how each type of film behaves and a high skill level in order to achieve professional results.”

Visit the Avery Dennison website for more information on dates and locations of classes and to register. Additional classes may be announced at a later date.
