AATCC launches student intern jobsite

Finding the right intern, or the right internship opportunity, can be a daunting task. For students working in the apparel, materials, or textile industries, it can involve checking dozens of websites and mailing lists. And for employers, it can mean sifting through hundreds of resumes, including many from students who may not be directly qualified.

In response to the growing need for qualified leads on both sides of the intern hiring desk, AATCC is now offering the student intern jobsite, which lists openings for both undergraduate students and graduate students seeking internships in the textile industry. The student intern jobsite is located on the AATCC website.

Posting an internship on AATCC’s student intern jobsite is free and open to companies whether or not they are members of the Association.

The site will also carry a list of resumes of graduating college seniors to help employers in the industry quickly identify qualified entry-level permanent talent. Employers who do not have a membership with AATCC may contact Bonnie Green in the Association’s membership department to see a copy of the list. Students, however, must be AATCC members to access the internship list.
