Serge Ferrari in China: an 18-year success story

After an 18-year presence in the People’s Republic of China, Serge Ferrari executives had the honor of being introduced to President Xi Jinping at Lyon City Hall on March 26, 2014, during the President’s official visit to France. The meeting was reported as an outstanding sign of recognition and a source of immense pride for the company.

In China, Serge Ferrari has three sales offices (in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen) and a subsidiary in Hong Kong. That team is 100 percent Chinese, with 16 people managed by M. Yu Tcheng. The successful team regularly wins projects with Ferrari’s composite materials made in France and Switzerland: roofs for 30 stadiums, Shanghai Exhibition Centre (16 hectares), dozens of railway stations and shopping malls as well as solar protection in office buildings.
