Burlington acquires Keystone Weaving

October 1st, 2014 / By: / Industry News

Burlington Technologies, Burlington, N.C., manufactures woven jacquard fabrics for home furnishings markets and fabrics for corporate, health care and hospitality spaces through its two flagship companies, Se7en and Bentex. Lebanon, Pa.-based Keystone Weaving has been acquired by Miami-based Banyan, a private investment firm and majority shareholder of Burlington. While Se7en and Bentex primarily use synthetic yarns, Keystone Weaving employs natural fiber yarns including cotton, linen and wool, so that each division will continue to serve its customer base without overlapping. The acquisition included jacquard and dobby looms, related textile weaving equipment, the Keystone Brand and Keystone’s business for both home fabrics and apparel fabrics markets.
