    Eugene “Pete” McConnell of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Jan. 3 at age 87. McConnell served two three-year terms as an active director (from 1983– 89) on ATA’s board of directors. McConnell was owner/president of Capital City Awning in Columbus, Ohio, for more than 45 years. Capital City Awning has been an ATA member since 1967.
