TenCate has agreed to sell Sensient Technologies Corp., Milwaukee, Wis., the assets of Xennia Technology Ltd., Letchworth, U.K., and expects a final closing of the transaction to be reached shortly.

Xennia Technology is an ink supplier for industrial digital inkjet processes, mainly for the ceramic and technical textile industries. As an enabling partner, Xennia Technology has been part of the technological innovation of TenCate in connection with digital printing and finishing. In 2014 TenCate launched its first commercial products on the basis of digital inkjet technology in the market segment of outdoor fabrics.

Sensient Technologies is a global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors and fragrances. The activities of Xennia Technology will become part of the Sensient Colors Group.
