Shadow Graphix wins 3M Wrap to Win contest

Daren Merkle of Shadow Graphix Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., was selected as the winner of the 3M Wrap to Win contest by a panel of industry and celebrity judges, including Jeff Gordon, Jeremy McGrath and Jessi Combs.

3M Wrap to Win is a skill-based promotion created to showcase the design creativity and skills of graphic manufacturers using 3M™ Envision™ Print Wrap Films and 3M™ Envision™ Wrap Overlaminates. Merkle’s winning wrap client is Jammin’ Joi’s food truck. The project’s contest submission highlighted its glossy, clean look and reduction of seams.

Merkle, along with semi-finalists 51 Wraps of Tulsa, Okla., Metro Signs Inc., Hollywood, Fla., PDX Wraps, Sherwood, Ore., and Speedpro Imaging, Atlanta, Ga., each received an all-expense-paid trip to Las Vegas for the ISA Expo from April 8–11, where the judges’ decision was announced. Merkle’s design was selected for its eye-catching and creative use of space and the overall look of the wrap. He won a trip to Bora Bora with all expenses paid for two people for eight days and seven nights.
