Noble Biomaterials Inc. has received bluesign product line approval for its XT2™ technology, which employs a proprietary process to provide permanent anti-odor protection that does not wash off or wear out.

Based in Scranton, Pa., Noble manufactures antimicrobial and anti-odor technologies for performance fabrics. Through a comprehensive biocidal product review process, the company demonstrated that the XT2 product line meets bluesign requirements for durability, adherence, efficacy and low human toxicity, among other quality and safety performance measures.

Noble has been a bluesign system partner since 2013, meeting stringent standards for production management practices in raw materials, wastewater, air emissions, waste management, hazards management, safety and chemical use. Periodic audits and regular reporting of progress toward improvement goals are key components of the bluesign system.
