Runners, cyclists and any pedestrians out on the roads at night need to take extra caution in traffic. In fact, according to the National Safety Council, the likelihood of being struck and killed as a pedestrian increases more than 1,000 percent after dark. Reflective clothing can make all the difference. That’s why Safe Reflections, a St. Paul, Minn., producer of reflective solutions to industrial, sports and military markets, has introduced ReflectYourGear™ reflective trim for consumer use.

Safe Reflections starts with high-quality 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective material and pairs it with Safe Reflections Brilliant® Color Reflective to clearly illuminate clothing at night. At the same time, it is not conspicuous in daylight, like traditional silver reflective. The material reflects the light from headlights back towards the driver of a motor vehicle from any angle, increasing the pedestrian’s ability to be seen from 500 feet away.

ReflectYourGear is available in a variety of colors to match just about any kind of workout or outdoor apparel. It is self-adhesive, making it easy to apply to clothing and accessories with iron-on or taped product applications.
