Even though many options exist for outdoor canopies for residential and commercial use, Dr. Alan Shargani couldn’t find one that would work for his home. He found that the canopies available were difficult to install and maintain. Made from one long piece of fabric, they required precise measurements and fabrication, and once they were installed they couldn’t be repaired or modified without a trip back to the shop.

So Dr. Shargani created his own design, Infinity Canopy. Its unique modular design allows it to adapt to any space. Ready to install out of the box, it is comprised of individual shade panels that connect together to create shade sections in any length. The individual panels, made of high-quality awning-grade mesh or canvas, can be in one or multiple colors and can be interchanged to create striking designs. The canopy can be of uniform or varying width sections, and can be a solid for permanent shade or have panels removed for open space.

The Infinity Canopy uses a slide-on-wire system to install on pergolas or between two opposing structures on a pair of parallel cables. It can also attach directly to available overhead support. The system was recently issued a patent covering its one-of-a-kind features.
