Michael Funk, of Montgomery, Ill., died unexpectedly from heart failure on May 14, 2016, at Rush Copley Medical Center. He worked for Glen Raven/Sunbrella in sales for the last 30 years.

Michael is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Patti, his daughter Jennifer (fiancé Kristoffer Hinchley), his brothers David (Karen) Funk and James (Janet) Funk, as well as many other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law Bob and Carolyn Rudnick and brother-in-law Robert Enck.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dieterle Memorial Home in Montgomery, Ill. The funeral service will be at Dieterle Memorial Home on Friday, May 20, at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, Ill.
