Futureguard Building Products Inc., an Auburn, Maine, manufacturer and distributor of retractable and aluminum awning products, has teamed up with Draper Inc. to add retractable solar and insect screens to its dealer offerings.

According to Ed Keough, Futureguard’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, “The Draper product line of exterior zip retention shades is a perfect fit and rounds out our awning product offering to our dealers. It’s a high quality U.S. designed and manufactured system featuring screen mesh fabrics from Mermet, Phifer and Ferrari.”

Draper Inc., Spiceland, Indiana, is one of the largest suppliers of interior shades, blinds and projection screens to the architect and commercial construction markets around the world. According to Chris Broome, Draper’s contract market manager, “Our relationship with Futureguard is a perfect avenue for the expansion of our top quality U.S. made exterior products to independent dealers around the U.S.”
